Wire rope tension meter HF 37/LPT
Field of application
These tension meter models have been specifically designed to monitor tensioned cables without the need to place an inline dynamometer and without having to dismantle the installation to take measurements.
Operating principle
Tensile force measurement using strain gauges. The cable deflection exerted via the tension meter produces a tangential force proportional to the force exerted on the traction cable. The deformation produced by this force is measured by a gauge bridge integrated into the sensor.
Options
Specific calibration: The standard database includes a series of cables and contact wires identified by a “calibration reference.” Each number refers to a calibration performed on the corresponding cable. The database can be expanded with specific cables or ropes; a sample per cable will be required, and the calibration results will be added to the database.
PC Software: Our devices are supplied by default with data management software called LOADER Light. This software allows for the visualization and transfer of measurements recorded in the display memory to a PC. Other data management software programs are also available:
- Loader tech: to add a calibration remotely
- Loader full: to add a calibration remotely and manage recordings
- Monitor: for real-time data acquisition
