Tensiometer for Cable KIT HF 36/LPT
Field of application
These tensiometer models have been specifically designed to measure forces on tensioned cables without having to install a dynamometer in-line and without having to dismantle the installation to take the measurement.
Operating principle
Tensile force measurement by strain gauges. The cable deflection exerted through the tensiometer produces a tangential force proportional to the force exerted on the traction cable. The deformation produced by this force is measured by a strain gauge bridge integrated into the sensor. The signal generated by the strain gauges is then conditioned by the associated electronics and displayed on the LCD screen of the associated indicator.
