Field of application
This mechanical sensor is designed to detect a force threshold in cable lifting systems with a dead end. Exceeding the threshold generates a signal that can be utilized according to user requirements,
Example:
- In lifting: load limitation
- In translation: speed limitation based on Load
- In tension: effort limitation, etc.
This sensor is preferably offered for original equipment installations and those where it is important not to lose lifting height. It is normally associated with the HF85/1 monitor, but it can also be connected to either a programmable logic controller or a simple automation relay.
Operating principle
The sensor operates by deformation within its elastic limit, using a monobloc cell. This deformation acts, via an adjustment screw, on a switch providing an “all or nothing” signal (see details in the commissioning manual).
